The experience
One of the classic Bay of All Saints crossings. Morning departure from the Terminal Náutico on a wooden schooner, roughly a two-hour sail to Ilha dos Frades. Swimming stop at the natural pools of Ponta de Nossa Senhora, free time on Praia do Loreto and lunch at a feet-in-the-sand restaurant with fresh fish and Bahian moqueca. Return in late afternoon, the Salvador skyline coloring up across the bay.
