Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 2 September 2026
Via Avantgarde Suites wants everyone to be able to use viaavantgarde.com. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a finished task.
1. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Descriptive
alttext on meaningful images; decorative images are marked as such. - Keyboard navigation for interactive elements, with a visible focus outline.
- Colour contrast checked against the AA thresholds for body and large text.
- Respect for the reduced-motion system setting: the opening animation and scroll effects are muted when you ask your device to reduce motion.
- Text that resizes without breaking the layout.
2. Known Limitations
We are honest about where we still fall short. Some archival and third-party photographs in our Salvador guides carry brief captions rather than full descriptions, and we are improving these over time. If you encounter a barrier we have not listed, please tell us — your feedback is the fastest way we find and fix problems.
3. Accessibility of the Suites
Accessibility features vary from suite to suite. If you have specific requirements — step-free access, bathroom grab bars, a ground-floor bedroom, parking, or anything else — please contact us at [email protected] before you book, and we will tell you honestly whether a particular suite can accommodate them. We would rather help you choose the right suite than have a stay that does not work for you.
4. Feedback & Contact
If any part of this Site is difficult to use, email [email protected] and describe the problem and the page. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to offer the information you need in another format if that helps.
5. How We Test
We test with keyboard-only navigation, with the VoiceOver screen reader, and with automated tooling (Lighthouse). Automated tools cannot catch everything, which is why the contact above matters.
